The SAGLIN-VCUT series is the flagship of the SAGLIN window patching platform — a dedicated V-cut machine for converters serving the premium carton segment. Where flat patching produces a single 2D window, V-cut creates a folded 3D window that wraps around the product, dramatically increasing perceived value and shelf presence. This is the format used by global cosmetic, fragrance, and luxury gift brands.

The VCUT series is engineered exclusively for V-cut work — no compromise to share architecture with flat patching. Three independent servo motors control film feed, V-cut die positioning, and creasing wheel timing, delivering ±0.5 mm registration on cartons up to 750×1050 mm. The optional heater roller extends film compatibility to 0.40 mm thick BOPP and PET — the heavier films required for premium gift packaging.
Every VCUT machine ships with electrical and pneumatic specifications adapted for the Russian market (380V / 50Hz, EAC support). Installation, commissioning, and operator training are handled by our partner HD RUS LLC in the Moscow region.

The 7000 pcs/h V-cut throughput is sustained at standard operating conditions. Speed varies with carton size, film thickness, and number of V-cut dies in operation (single / two / three V-cut configurations are all supported). Specifications subject to continuous improvement.

Flat-patched 2D windows are commoditised — every Chinese window patching machine produces them, and converter margins on flat-window cartons have compressed steadily over the last decade. V-cut 3D windows are a different market: the folded film wraps around the product, creating depth, shadow, and shelf presence that flat windows cannot match.
This is why cosmetic, fragrance, and premium gift brands specify V-cut almost exclusively. The capital cost difference between a flat patching line and a V-cut line is recovered within 12–18 months on the margin uplift alone — and the customer base for V-cut work is structurally smaller, less price-sensitive, and more loyal to capable suppliers.

3 Independent Servo Motors

Long-Life V-cut Tool
Hardened V-cut die engineered for high-volume production. Tool life rated for hundreds of thousands of cuts before regrind — critical for cosmetic and fragrance converters running long campaigns.
Optional Heater Roller
Heat-controlled roller for film thicknesses 0.25–0.40 mm. Required for heavy BOPP and PET films used in premium luxury and wine gift packaging.
Single / Dual / Triple V-cut
Configurable for one, two, or three V-cut windows per carton. The most premium cosmetic and fragrance cartons specify triple V-cut for full-product visibility on all visible faces.
Tuck-in Flap V-cut + Creasing
Optional cross-creasing wheel for V-cut tuck-in flaps. Required for cartons where the window wraps onto the tuck flap (cosmetic compact, jewellery presentation boxes).
Optional Letter / Logo Embossing
Factory-fit embossing die for branded letter or logo embossing directly on the window film. Used for premium brand identification on cosmetic and fragrance windows.
Optional Hole Punching
Factory-fit punching die for decorative holes in the window film — used for hanging-tab packaging and breathable window applications (skincare, gourmet food premium).
