SAGLIN-GST-1060 + SAGLIN-GUVY-1060ACS
Screen Cold Foil &
Hologram Transfer Line
All three premium decorations on one line — cold foil stamping, hologram cast & cure transfer, and spot UV varnishing in a single B1 pass. Engineered for anti-counterfeit premium packaging.
One screen press.
Three premium decorations. One line.
The SAGLIN Screen Cold Foil & Hologram Transfer Line pairs the SAGLIN-GST-1060 full-automatic stop-cylinder screen press with the SAGLIN-GUVY-1060ACS inline unit — the flagship configuration that runs cold foil stamping, hologram cast & cure transfer, and spot UV varnishing on a single B1 pass.
“Cold foil, hologram, and spot UV on one sheet pass — anti-counterfeit decoration with no engraved dies, at screen-press registration.”
Hologram transfer is achieved by cast & cure: a holographic pattern is cast into a UV-curable adhesive and cured in place. The result has a tear-and-no-film characteristic that cannot be replicated by composite lamination, and the laser pattern is recyclable — only the laser text and graphics remain on the product, which is friendlier to recycling and degradation than a laminated film.
Combined with cold foil’s metallic effects and spot UV gloss, the ACS line delivers the layered, hard-to-copy decoration that high-value brands rely on for both shelf appeal and anti-counterfeit security — all in one inline pass, eliminating multi-station logistics.
Every line ships with electrical and pneumatic specifications adapted for the Russian and CIS markets (380V / 50Hz, EAC support). Installation, commissioning, and operator training are handled by our partner HD RUS LLC in the Moscow region.
Why converters choose this line
- Three processes — cold foil, hologram, spot UV — on one pass
- Hologram cast & cure — tear-and-no-film, anti-counterfeit
- Recyclable laser pattern, no laminated film left behind
- Cold foil at room temperature — no engraved dies
- UV lamp 8 kW × 5 for full three-process curing
- Cold-air paper receiving prevents post-cure deformation
Two units, one continuous pass.
The line is built from two spliced units. Sheets feed from the screen press straight into the cold foil, hologram & spot UV unit — no manual transfer between processes.
Stop-Cylinder Screen Press
Classical stop-cylinder technology for high reliability, high precision, and low maintenance cost. Lays down the UV adhesive pattern and spot UV coating that the cold foil transfer relies on.
- Registration accuracy ≤0.1 mm
- Printing speed 500–4,000 sheets/h
- Max paper size 1060 × 900 mm
- Low noise, low maintenance, high automation
Cold Foil, Hologram & Spot UV Unit
The all-in-one finishing unit: inline cold foil stamping, hologram cast & cure transfer, and spot UV varnishing, with cold-air paper receiving. UV lamp configuration is upgraded to 8 kW × 5 for full three-process curing.
- Cold foil + hologram + spot UV in one pass
- Cast & cure hologram — tear-and-no-film
- Localised laser anti-counterfeit graphics
- Cold-air paper receiving prevents deformation

Maximum speed depends on paper specification, UV varnish viscosity, cold foil adhesive, and transfer film. Cold foil requires paper of 128 g/m² or above. Under test conditions (90–150 g/m², working format ≤ 600 × 500 mm) sustained hologram speed is around 3,000 sheets/h and cold foil around 1,000 sheets/h. Specifications subject to continuous improvement.
What sets the line apart.
Engineered for high-volume premium packaging. Here is what differentiates it from generic cold foil machines in the same class.
Modular Splicing Design
Single machine or multi-module combination. Compact structure, strong compatibility. Add a hologram module later to upgrade to the three-process line.
Cold Foil at Press Speed
Foil transfer through UV-curable adhesive at room temperature. No engraved dies, no heat management — artwork changes use screens and plates only.
Cast & Cure Hologram Transfer
Holographic patterns cast into UV-curable adhesive and cured in place. Tear-and-no-film characteristic — impossible to replicate via composite lamination — and the laser pattern is recyclable.
Cold-Air Paper Receiving
Cold air system prevents post-cure deformation of UV-varnished sheets at high stacking heights — clean, flat stacks straight off the line.
Mitsubishi PLC Control
Centralised PLC controller with color touchscreen HMI. Job memory for recurring artwork, one-key test run, all functional data displayed in real time.
Keyence Optical Detection
Front and pull-side gauges use Keyence (Japan) fiber optic detection. Photoelectric paper-presence detection — auto-deceleration on miss-feed.
Anti-Counterfeit by Design
Localised laser anti-counterfeiting graphics placed at specific pattern positions on each sheet — easily identifiable by end consumers, hard to copy, and combined with the printed artwork for a layered security effect.
Schneider & Yaskawa Electrics
Schneider main electrical control gear, Yaskawa frequency converters. Stable system reliability with reduced maintenance over multi-shift production.
Where the line performs.
Designed for premium packaging segments where metallic decoration and high-gloss finishes drive shelf appeal. The line is widely used on paper and board, and on plastic sheet packaging.
Cigarette & Wine Cartons
Hologram anti-counterfeit on cigarette packs and metallic cold-foil decoration on wine and spirits cartons. The line runs all three processes in a single pass — eliminating multi-station logistics on premium brand packaging.
Anti-Counterfeit Cartons
Hologram cast & cure transfer for tamper-evident, hard-to-copy pharmaceutical cartons, delivering anti-counterfeit security at screen-press registration without separate finishing steps.
Luxury & Festival Packaging
Layered cold foil, hologram, and spot UV on perfume and skincare boxes, festival gift boxes, and high-end retail cartons — where decoration and security both drive shelf value.
Just need cold foil and gloss?
If hologram isn’t required, the SAGLIN-GUVY-CS line covers cold foil stamping and spot UV at a lower investment — and the modular splicing design lets you add the hologram module later without replacing the screen-press base.
